How do adaptive quizzes decide which extra questions to ask?
Every quiz starts from a core set. When a learner gets a topic wrong, Compass auto-generates additional questions on that same topic until they demonstrate understanding — turning the quiz into targeted remediation rather than a single pass/fail snapshot.
Are the certificates actually verifiable?
Yes. Each certificate carries a unique UUID that can be looked up to confirm authenticity, and it's emailed automatically on completion — giving you an audit trail that stands up to compliance review.
Can I require a minimum score before someone is certified?
Set a passmark per assessment. Learners who don't clear it can't progress to gated content or earn the certificate, so "completed" always means "competent".
